Introduce Yourself!
Slowly but surely there are a few new folks joining us. Use this thread to introduce yourself.
Me, I'm a supervisor of Maintenance in Cinci Ohio. I like long walks in the.. Anyway, I like all bikes big and small and could read or talk about them anytime. I've got 3 kids and a sweet ole' lady (I've always wanted to say that) I'm a Cub master of about 75 kids. That about sums it up for now, what do you all do?

Greetings from the Ft Myers P&DC
I'm not a supervisor either. I have only been with the postal service since 2000. Prior to that I was in the nursing field (Sr-LPN) for about 27 years. 20 of those years in the US Army (1972-1992) and 7 years working at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia, Missouri. I was Army trained in nursing and the state of Florida didn't recognize this training so that is how I migrated to a new career in the USPS. This all worked out better for me in the long run.
I had not rode since my teens (dirt bikes and mopeds) so after 30+ years I bought a 2001 Honda Shadow VLX Deluxe which I rode till this year when I upgraded to a 2008 GL1800 Goldwing. I go for the comfort now in scooter choices.
My name is Jim and I'm a chromeaholic..
Been with the PO since 81. Was a Letter carrier for 14 years and now I'm a MOS 7. Prior to that was 6 years in the Army and a tour in kuwait during the first gulf war
Countdown clock is running and is less than 4 years 8 months
I ride a 06 Yamaha Royal Star Midnight Tour Deluxe and I'm a member of Star Riding & Touring

Something to think about
Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, But rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "Holy Crap!! What a Ride"!!!!

Welcome to All
A few new members have joined the ranks but not introduced themselves.
So I would like to take the opportunity to say welcome to you, one and all.
I hope that one day we may share the highways and byways on a group ride or in passing.
Till then ride safe.
